"Assistance League Preschool has been
very beneficial to me in many ways.  As a
single father as well as a first time father,
things are new to me as they are to my 3½ year-old daughter.  The ladies at Assistance League have been extremely helpful with questions and advise.  They are very easy to talk to which makes it easier for me to voice concerns or ask questions.

My daughter started only 4 months ago
and has already improved immensely on her motor skills, recognition of letters and
numbers and on speech.  She talks about the teachers constantly and what they told them  at school about letters, numbers, etc.

I couldn’t have asked for a better staff or
program to teach my child."

I played.  I sat down on the carpet and
played with my friend Josh.  We write our “D”s.  We did another paper where we
colored all the things on the page that
started with the letter “D.”

I went to sleep today. I played in the kitchen area. We did the letter “G.” I played with some rocks in the science area, and I helped my teacher put the cotton balls and the beans in the plastic houses on the window (to watch them sprout.)

Facility and Staffing

Assistance League of Antelope Valley Child Care Center is a nurturing place for children ages 2 through 6.  Our qualified teachers meet and exceed the Early Childhood Education requirements of the California State Department of Social Services.

Our students develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually, so they are ready for school.  The Kindergarten class achieves state standards in all areas including computer literacy.

The Child Care Center is open from 7 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday, except designated holidays.  We serve breakfast, a hot lunch and nutritious afternoon snack.

You are welcome to stop by and take a tour. The Child Care Center is located in our Chapter House in downtown Lancaster on the corner of West Newgrove and Fern Avenue.   (map)
